Blume Hütte – Our Story & Rebrand from Adelaide Hills Flower Studio

Adelaide Hills Flower Studio began back in 2015 when I opened my first shop in Mount Barker. I was 20 years old, excited and nervous, just hoping people would walk through the door. Over the years the shop grew with me. It became part of birthdays, weddings, new babies, goodbyes, and so many “just because” moments. It has held a whole decade of my life, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

In December 2025 I moved the shop to Hahndorf. The space here feels so different — smaller, cosier, warmer. When you walk through the door it feels more like a little hideaway than a big studio. Standing here day after day, I realised the name Adelaide Hills Flower Studio didn’t quite fit anymore.

That is when I found the words Blume Hütte. In German, Blume means flower and Hütte means cabin. It clicked straight away: flower cabin. That is exactly what this shop feels like — a tucked-away boutique on the main street, filled with flowers, gifts, and heart.

Changing the name hasn’t been simple. Adelaide Hills Flower Studio has been part of my life for ten years, and it’s a name that carries history, memories, and trust. But the truth is, the shop has outgrown it and become something new, and it finally feels right to give it a name that truly belongs.

So here we are. Adelaide Hills Flower Studio is now Blume Hütte.

Nothing else has changed. It’s still me behind the counter, still the same high quality, and still the same love poured into every bunch. The only difference is a name that finally fits.
